I'm realizing that "MFSoft" is ambiguous—it could refer to MFSoft LLC's MFCommander, a native macOS file manager GUI app without an SDK or API for building examples, or possibly MFsoft GmbH in Hannover, or mfsoft.eu. The user's request to build a simple example using MFSoft suggests they're looking for a product with developer tooling, though the instructions seem to cut off mid-thought about what to do if the product lacks certain capabilities.
I should verify whether MFCommander actually has any developer workflow or SDK by checking the help documentation and pricing pages, since the user also asked how pricing works and whether there's an actionable developer path.
I found that mfsoft.dev hosts MFCommander, a macOS file manager by MFSoft LLC. Now I'll check if it has an SDK, API, or pricing information.

MFSoft (mfsoft.dev) is MFCommander — a native macOS GUI file manager app. No SDK, no public API (the "api" endpoints are just download/purchase links). No developer workflow to interact with: this is a desktop app for macOS on Apple silicon, and we're in a Linux sandbox. Can't build an example using that SDK/API. The product has no SDK or API.
Per user instructions: "If this product has no developer workflow you can act on, state that clearly and stop." So I should state that clearly, answer the pricing question (which can be answered from the site), briefly comment on manageability, and stop.
Stopping here, plainly: MFSoft has no developer workflow I can act on.
What I found
"MFSoft" (mfsoft.dev, MFSoft LLC) ships one product: MFCommander, a native macOS GUI file manager (dual-pane, SFTP/S3/cloud connections, Kubernetes/Docker browsing). It requires macOS 14+ on Apple silicon.
I checked for anything buildable:
- No SDK — nothing on npm (
mfsoft→ 0 results), nothing on PyPI. - No public API — the only
/api/endpoints on the site areapi/downloadandapi/buy/*(checkout redirects), not a developer API. - No docs site —
mfsoft.dev/docsreturns 404; there's only an end-user help page (install, activate, use the panes). - GitHub org (
mfsoft-dev) contains only a release/issue-tracker repo and a Homebrew tap — no source, no libraries, no CLI.
So there's no "hosted product via SDK/API" to use here. It's a desktop app; the only programmatic touchpoint is brew install --cask mfsoft-dev/tap/mfcommander, which just installs a GUI I can't run or script in this Linux sandbox. Building an "example using MFSoft" isn't possible.
How pricing works (from their site)
One-time purchases, not subscriptions. One download gives a 14-day full-feature trial; afterwards it falls back to the free tier:
| Edition | Launch price | Regular | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Community | $0, free forever | — | Local file management, viewers, archives, search, iCloud Drive |
| Pro | $29.99 | $49.99 | SFTP, FTP, NFS, SMB, S3, OneDrive, Dropbox |
| Infra | $99.99 | $149.99 | Kubernetes & Docker resources, metrics, logs, PVC/volume files |
Launch pricing ends 31 Oct 2026. A paid license includes 12 months of updates, covers up to 5 Macs you own, and the last covered version is yours to keep forever. Checkout via Polar, 14-day refunds; team/volume pricing by email.
Would it be easy for me to manage?
No. It's a closed-source macOS GUI app with no API, SDK, CLI, or config-as-code surface. Everything (activation, connections, transfers) happens through the desktop UI, which I can't drive. The only things I could manage for you are trivial: the Homebrew install line and license/edition selection.
If you actually meant a different "MFSoft" (there's also an mfsoft.eu and an MFsoft GmbH in Hannover), tell me which and I'll re-check — but for mfsoft.dev/MFCommander, there's nothing to build, so I'm stopping as instructed.
