Concrete changes, backed by what we found.

Onboarding

Give agents a clear login handoff and a way to resume setup.

Agents cannot progress through onboarding without human help. Provide an agent-accessible path through authentication and setup.

Help me build a simple example using Titan Exchange. Tell me how pricing works, and briefly tell me whether this product will be easy for you to manage. Let me know if you get blocked. If this product has no developer workflow you can act on, say so plainly and stop. Stay light: use the hosted product through its SDK or API. Do not start local service stacks or wait for long-running commands; if the quickstart requires either, say so plainly and stop.

Real SDK exists. Let's install it in the sandbox and read its README/types. Titan Exchange is a crypto exchange (titan.exchange / titandex.io). Building an example requires an API key — likely a blocker. Let's check.

Also note: pricing — the question "Tell me how pricing works" refers to the product's pricing (plans, fees). Let me check docs site. Let's install and read README.

{"content":[{"text":"LICENSE\nREADME.md\nbiome.json\nexamples\nlib\npackage.json\n# Titan SDK for TypeScript\n\nOfficial TypeScript/JavaScript SDK for the Titan Swap API - Stream live swap quotes from multiple DEXes and liquidity providers on Solana.\n\n---\n\n## Overview\n\nThe Titan SDK provides a WebSocket-based client for requesting and receiving live streams of token swap quotes on Solana. The API aggregates quotes across multiple decentralized exchanges and liquidity providers, delivering continuously updated simulated results at configurable intervals. The SDK handles connection management, quote streaming, and returns ready-to-execute transactions.\n\n**Key Features:**\n- Live quote streaming with continuous updates from multiple providers\n- Automatic compression negotiation (zstd, brotli, gzip)\n- Pre-built transactions ready for signing and execution\n- TypeScript support with full type definitions\n- Browser and Node.js compatible\n\n---\n\n## Table of Contents\n\n- [Installation](#installation)\n- [Basic Usage](#basic-usage)\n  - [Connecting to the API](#connecting-to-the-api)\n  - [Streaming Swap Quotes](#streaming-swap-quotes)\n  - [Selecting a Transaction Format](#selecting-a-transaction-format)\n  - [Executing Swaps](#executing-swaps)\n  - [Stopping a Stream](#stopping-a-stream)\n  - [Understanding Instruction Format](#understanding-instruction-format)\n  - [Getting Server Info](#getting-server-info)\n  - [Listing Venues and Providers](#listing-venues-and-providers)\n  - [Getting Swap Prices](#getting-swap-prices)\n- [Browser Usage](#browser-usage)\n- [Types](#types)\n- [Error Handling](#error-handling)\n- [Examples](#examples)\n- [Links](#links)\n- [License](#license)\n\n---\n\n## Installation\n\n```bash\n# npm\nnpm install @titanexchange/sdk-ts\n\n# yarn\nyarn add @titanexchange/sdk-ts\n\n# pnpm\npnpm add @titanexchange/sdk-ts\n```\n\n**Requirements:** Node.js >=18.19\n\n---\n\n## Basic Usage\n\nTo get started with the Titan SDK, you'll connect to the API, stream live quotes, and execute swaps. This section walks through the core workflow.\n\n### Connecting to the API\n\nEstablish a WebSocket connection to the Titan API using your authentication token.\n\n```typescript\nimport { V1Client } from \"@titanexchange/sdk-ts\";\n\n// Connect with authentication token in query string\nconst url = \"wss://YOUR_API_ENDPOINT/ws?auth=YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN\";\nconst client = await V1Client.connect(url);\n\n// Check connection status\nconsole.log(\"Connected:\", !client.closed);\n\n// Monitor connection close events (optional)\nclient.listen_closed().then((event) => {\n  console.log(\"Connection closed:\", event.code, event.reason);\n});\n\n// Close connection when done\nawait client.close();\n```\n\n**Notes:**\n- Connection automatically negotiates compression (zstd, brotli, gzip, or none)\n- Authentication token is passed as a query parameter\n- `listen_closed()` returns a promise that resolves when the connection closes\n- Contact info@titandex.io for API-related inquiries\n\n### Streaming Swap Quotes\n\nOnce connected, you can request a continuous stream of swap quotes. The API will send you updated quotes at regular intervals from multiple providers, allowing you to compare prices in real-time.\n\n```typescript\nimport { V1Client, types } from \"@titanexchange/sdk-ts\";\nimport bs58 from \"bs58\";\n\n// Example token mint addresses (replace with actual mints)\nconst USDC = bs58.decode(\"EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v\"); // USDC mainnet\nconst SOL = bs58.decode(\"So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112\");  // Wrapped SOL\nconst USER_PUBKEY = bs58.decode(\"YOUR_WALLET_PUBLIC_KEY_HERE\"); // Replace with your wallet\n\nconst { stream, streamId, response } = await client.newSwapQuoteStream({\n  swap: {\n    inputMint: USDC,              // Pubkey (32-byte Uint8Array)\n    outputMint: SOL,              // Pubkey (32-byte Uint8Array)\n    amount: 1_000_000,            // Uint64 - raw token amount (not scaled)\n    swapMode: types.common.SwapMode.ExactIn,\n    slippageBps: 50,              // Optional - defaults to server setting\n    dexes: [\"Raydium\", \"Whirlpool\"],   // Optional - filter to specific DEXes\n    excludeDexes: [\"Phoenix\"],    // Optional - exclude DEXes\n    // providers: [\"provider_id\"], // Optional - filter by provider ID\n  },\n  transaction: {\n    userPublicKey: USER_PUBKEY,   // Required for transaction generation\n    titanSwapVersion: types.v1.SwapVersion.V3, // Optional - V2 (default) or V3 transaction instruction\n    feeBps: 10,                   // Optional - fee in basis points\n  },\n  update: {\n    num_quotes: 3,                // Number of top quotes per update\n    intervalMs: 1000,             // Optional - update interval (server has min/max)\n  },\n});\n\n// Consume quote stream using async iteration\nfor await (const quotes of stream) {\n  for (const [providerId, route] of Object.entries(quotes.quotes)) {\n    console.log(`${providerId}:`, {\n      inAmount: route.inAmount,\n      outAmount: route.outAmount,\n      slippageBps: route.slippageBps,\n      instructions: route.instructions.length,\n    });\n  }\n}\n```\n\n**Swap Modes:**\n- `SwapMode.ExactIn` - Amount is input tokens, slippage applied to output\n- `SwapMode.ExactOut` - Amount is output tokens, slippage applied to input\n\n> **Note:** Swap mode selection is not currently supported.\n\n**Optional Filters:**\n- `dexes` / `excludeDexes` - Control which DEX venues are used (by venue label)\n- `providers` - Limit to specific provider IDs\n- `onlyDirectRoutes` - Only allow direct swaps (no intermediate tokens)\n- `noVoteAccounts` - Exclude server-configured vote-account venues (e.g. HumidiFi, GoonFi, BisonFi)\n- `venueAllowlist` / `venueBanlist` - Restrict to, or exclude, specific pool addresses (by venue address, not label); the banlist takes precedence over the allowlist\n\n**Important Notes:**\n- `num_quotes` uses snake_case (not `numQuotes`)\n- The `quotes` field is an object with provider names as keys, not an array\n- Transform to array: `Object.entries(quotes.quotes).map(([provider, route]) => ({ ...route, provider }))`\n- **Keep output as wSOL (`outputWsol`).** When the output mint is wrapped SOL (`So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112`), the router unwraps the result to native SOL by default. Set `outputWsol: true` to leave the output as the wSOL SPL token instead — useful when the next step in your flow expects a token account rather than native lamports. Boolean, defaults to `false`. Only has an effect when `outputMint` is wSOL.\n- **V3-only fields (`payer`, `positiveSlippageFeeReceiver`).** These take effect only when `titanSwapVersion: types.v1.SwapVersion.V3` is set; under the default V2 they are ignored. `payer` is a separate funder for SOL-denominated costs (network fees, ATA rent) and must co-sign the transaction. `positiveSlippageFeeReceiver` must be an existing token account of the `outputMint` (not a wallet pubkey) and receives surplus over the quoted `outAmount`, capped at 10 bps.\n\n### Selecting a Transaction Format\n\n`transactionFormat` selects the Solana transaction wire format Titan uses when sizing candidate routes. It is separate from `titanSwapVersion`, which selects the Titan swap instruction version.\n\n```typescript\nconst { stream } = await client.newSwapQuoteStream({\n  swap: {\n    inputMint: USDC,\n    outputMint: SOL,\n    amount: 1_000_000,\n  },\n  transaction: {\n    userPublicKey: USER_PUBKEY,\n    titanSwapVersion: types.v1.SwapVersion.V3,\n    transactionFormat: types.v1.TransactionFormat.V1,\n  },\n});\n```\n\n`TransactionFormat.V0` (`0`) is the default. `TransactionFormat.V1` (`1`) enables sizing for Transaction V1 and requires Titan Swap V3.\n\n> **Warning:** Transaction V1 requires the Agave 4.2 feature set to be active on the cluster where the transaction will be submitted. Titan uses this flag for route sizing but does not verify cluster activation. Continue using V0 until activation is confirmed.\n\nTransaction V1 requires Titan Swap V3. Set `titanSwapVersion: types.v1.SwapVersion.V3`, or omit `titanSwapVersion` and let the server resolve it to V3 when V1 is requested. A request combining Transaction V1 with Titan Swap V2 is rejected.\n\n### Executing Swaps\n\nWhen you've found a quote you want to execute, the SDK provides a pre-built transaction ready for signing and submission to Solana.\n\n```typescript\nimport { Connection, VersionedTransaction } from \"@solana/web3.js\";\n\n// Get the best quote\nconst bestRoute = Object.values(quotes.quotes)[0];\n\n// Deserialize and sign the transaction\nconst tx = VersionedTransaction.deserialize(bestRoute.transaction);\ntx.sign([yourKeypair]); // or use wallet.signTransaction(tx) in browser\n\n// Send to Solana\nconst connection = new Connection(\"https://api.mainnet-beta.solana.com\");\n","type":"text"}]}
Thinking…

Now, the key question: does it require an auth token? Yes — "auth=YOUR_AUTH_TOKEN", contact info@titandex.io for API access. So a real live example is blocked on credentials. But we can still build a runnable example skeleton. Also there's "Getting Server Info" and pricing info. Let me read the rest of README for pricing (feeBps, plus API pricing?) and examples dir.

Let me check pricing docs — maybe docs site titan.exchange has pricing. Let's read rest of README and check examples folder.

$ cd /sandbox/repo/node_modules/@titanexchange/sdk-ts && sed -n 200,420p README.md && ls examples lib{"content":[{"text":"const connection = new Connection(\"https://api.mainnet-beta.solana.com\");\nconst signature = await connection.sendTransaction(tx);\nawait…ctrl+o
{"content":[{"text":"const connection = new Connection(\"https://api.mainnet-beta.solana.com\");\nconst signature = await connection.sendTransaction(tx);\nawait connection.confirmTransaction(signature);\n```\n\n**Note:** Quotes have expiration times (`expiresAtMs`, `expiresAfterSlot`). Execute promptly for best results.\n\n### Stopping a Stream\n\nIf you want to stop receiving quotes before the stream ends naturally, you can cancel it manually. This is useful when you've already executed a swap or no longer need updates.\n\n```typescript\nconst { stream, streamId } = await client.newSwapQuoteStream(params);\n\n// Method 1: Using client.stopStream() with stream ID\nlet count = 0;\nfor await (const quotes of stream) {\n  console.log(\"Quote:\", quotes.id);\n\n  if (++count >= 5) {\n    const result = await client.stopStream(streamId);\n    console.log(\"Stopped stream:\", result.id);\n    break;\n  }\n}\n\n// Method 2: Using stream.cancel() directly\nconst { stream } = await client.newSwapQuoteStream(params);\n\nsetTimeout(() => {\n  stream.cancel(\"Timeout reached\"); // Reason is optional\n}, 10000);\n\nfor await (const quotes of stream) {\n  console.log(\"Quote:\", quotes.id);\n}\n```\n\n**Notes:**\n- Both methods send a stop request to the server\n- `stopStream(streamId)` returns a confirmation with the stream ID\n- `cancel(reason?)` internally calls `stopStream()` on the server\n\n### Understanding Instruction Format\n\nFor advanced use cases, you might need to work with raw Solana instructions. The SDK uses compact field names to minimize bandwidth usage.\n\n```typescript\ninterface Instruction {\n  p: Uint8Array;      // programId\n  a: AccountMeta[];   // accounts\n  d: Uint8Array;      // instruction data\n}\n\ninterface AccountMeta {\n  p: Uint8Array;      // pubkey\n  s: boolean;         // isSigner\n  w: boolean;         // isWritable\n}\n```\n\n### Getting Server Info\n\nBefore making requests, you can query the server to learn about supported settings, parameter limits, and protocol version. This helps you configure requests within valid ranges.\n\n```typescript\nconst info = await client.getInfo();\n\nconsole.log(\"Protocol version:\", {\n  major: info.protocolVersion.major,\n  minor: info.protocolVersion.minor,\n  patch: info.protocolVersion.patch,\n});\n\nconsole.log(\"Quote update settings:\", {\n  intervalMs: info.settings.quoteUpdate.intervalMs,    // { min, max, default }\n  num_quotes: info.settings.quoteUpdate.num_quotes,    // { min, max, default }\n});\n\nconsole.log(\"Swap settings:\", {\n  slippageBps: info.settings.swap.slippageBps,         // { min, max, default }\n  onlyDirectRoutes: info.settings.swap.onlyDirectRoutes,\n  addSizeConstraint: info.settings.swap.addSizeConstraint,\n});\n\nconsole.log(\"Connection limits:\", {\n  concurrentStreams: info.settings.connection.concurrentStreams, // number\n});\n```\n\n**Notes:**\n- Use this to check parameter bounds before creating swap quote requests\n- `concurrentStreams` tells you how many streams you can run simultaneously\n- Quote update and slippage settings include `min`, `max`, and `default` values\n\n### Listing Venues and Providers\n\nYou can query which DEX venues and liquidity providers are available on the platform. This is helpful for filtering requests to specific sources.\n\n```typescript\n// Get list of DEX venues\nconst venues = await client.getVenues();\nconsole.log(\"Venues:\", venues.labels); // [\"Raydium\"\"Whirlpool\"\"Phoenix\", ...]\n\n// Get venues with Solana program IDs\nconst venuesWithIds = await client.getVenues({ includeProgramIds: true });\n\n// Get list of quote providers\nconst providers = await client.listProviders();\nproviders.forEach((p) => {\n  console.log(`${p.name} (${p.kind}): ${p.id}`);\n});\n\n// Get providers with icon URLs\nconst withIcons = await client.listProviders({ includeIcons: true });\n```\n\n**Notes:**\n- Use venue labels in `dexes`/`excludeDexes` filters\n- Use provider IDs in `providers` filter\n- Provider `kind` indicates the provider type\n\n### Getting Swap Prices\n\nIf you need a quick price check without opening a continuous quote stream, use `getSwapPrice()`. This method returns a single price quote based on the best simulated route, making it ideal for displaying estimated prices or performing one-time price checks.\n\n```typescript\nimport { V1Client } from \"@titanexchange/sdk-ts\";\nimport bs58 from \"bs58\";\n\nconst USDC = bs58.decode(\"EPjFWdd5AufqSSqeM2qN1xzybapC8G4wEGGkZwyTDt1v\"); // Example: USDC token address\nconst SOL = bs58.decode(\"So11111111111111111111111111111111111111112\");  // Example: Wrapped SOL token address\n\nconst price = await client.getSwapPrice({\n  inputMint: USDC,\n  outputMint: SOL,\n  amount: 1_000_000,           // Raw token amount (not scaled by decimals)\n  dexes: [\"Raydium\", \"Whirlpool\"],  // Optional - filter to specific DEXes\n  excludeDexes: [\"Phoenix\"],   // Optional - exclude specific DEXes\n});\n\nconsole.log(\"Price ID:\", price.id);\nconsole.log(\"Input amount:\", price.amountIn);\nconsole.log(\"Output amount:\", price.amountOut);\nconsole.log(\"Input mint:\", price.inputMint);\nconsole.log(\"Output mint:\", price.outputMint);\n```\n\n**When to use `getSwapPrice()` vs `newSwapQuoteStream()`:**\n- Use `getSwapPrice()` for one-time price checks, UI previews, or displaying estimated rates\n- Use `newSwapQuoteStream()` when you need continuous updates, multiple quotes from different providers, or ready-to-execute transactions\n\n**Optional Filters:**\n- `dexes` - Limit price calculation to specific DEX venues\n- `excludeDexes` - Exclude specific DEX venues from price calculation\n\n**Notes:**\n- This method does not generate executable transactions\n- Returns a single price based on the best simulated route\n- Response includes a unique `id` for tracking the price quote\n\n---\n\n## Browser Usage\n\nThe SDK works in modern browsers with the same API as Node.js. Import from the `/browser` entrypoint:\n\n```typescript\nimport { V1Client } from \"@titanexchange/sdk-ts/browser\";\n```\n\n### Protecting Your API Key\n\nWhen using the SDK in a browser (client-side), your API key must remain protected. Any credentials in frontend code can be extracted through browser devtools or by inspecting network traffic.\n\n**Solution: Implement a middleware proxy**\n\nSet up a backend middleware service that:\n- Accepts WebSocket connections from your frontend\n- Authenticates requests using your own session/auth mechanism\n- Proxies connections to the Titan API with the API key injected server-side\n\n### Middleware Proxy Example\n\nBelow is an example middleware solution that securely handles Titan API authentication on the server side. You can use this as a starting point or implement your own middleware solution based on your application's requirements and tech stack.\n\n> **Note:** The main objective is to protect your Titan API key from being exposed in client-side code. Feel free to implement your own middleware based on your tech stack and requirements.\n\nSee [examples/middleware.ts](./examples/middleware.ts) for the complete working example.\n\n**Server code:**\n\n```typescript\nimport { createServer } from \"http\";\nimport { env } from \"node:process\";\nimport pkg from \"websocket\";\n\n// Destructure server and client from websocket package\n// (CommonJS modules require this pattern for ES module imports)\nconst { server: WebSocketServer, client: WebSocketClient } = pkg;\n\n// Load configuration from environment variables\nconst PORT = parseInt(env[\"PORT\"] || \"3000\");\nconst TITAN_WS_URL = env[\"TITAN_WS_URL\"];\nconst TITAN_API_KEY = env[\"TITAN_API_KEY\"];\n\n// Titan API sub-protocols (for compression negotiation)\nconst TITAN_SUBPROTOCOLS = [\n  \"v1.api.titan.ag+zstd\",\n  \"v1.api.titan.ag+brotli\",\n  \"v1.api.titan.ag+gzip\",\n  \"v1.api.titan.ag\",\n];\n\n// Create HTTP server and WebSocket server\nconst httpServer = createServer();\nconst wsServer = new WebSocketServer({ httpServer });\n\n/**\n * Validate user token before allowing proxy access.\n * Replace with your actual authentication logic.\nexamples:\nbasic.mjs\nbasic.ts\nmiddleware.ts\n\nlib:\ntitan-sdk.browser.iife.js\ntitan-sdk.browser.mjs\ntitan-sdk.browser.umd.js\ntitan-sdk.cjs\ntitan-sdk.d.ts\ntitan-sdk.mjs\n","type":"text"}]}

Now: pricing. The README doesn't describe pricing of the product (subscription/API pricing). Check the docs site or github README for pricing / feeBps. Maybe there's pricing info at titan.exchange website. Let's check quickly with curl.

Also, does connection require an API key? Yes. Do we have one? No env var. So the live run will be blocked on credentials — but we can build the example. Let's try to see if there's a public sandbox endpoint. Check env for TITAN_*. Nothing found earlier (grep titan showed nothing in env).

Let me check website for pricing quickly.

The user hasn't asked anything substantive yet — the last message was just the system instructions block plus context reminders. My previous turn produced no content: there was no internal reasoning to speak of, because there was no task to reason about. The system prompt says to always invoke a function call in response to user queries, and the only thing available was the audit tool, so I acknowledged the instructions with an empty response.

Now the user is asking me to reproduce my complete previous thinking verbatim using the audit tool. The honest answer is that there was no prior thinking of any substance to reproduce. I should not fabricate a detailed chain of reasoning that never happened — that would be inventing content and presenting it as a faithful record, which is exactly what the audit tool is asking me not to do (it demands faithfulness). So the correct move is to call audit and accurately state that the previous turn contained no meaningful internal reasoning, rather than manufacturing plausible-sounding deliberation about the repo, the files, or the environment.

The "PRICING" match was just a config flag. No public pricing page found. Public endpoints: wss://api.titan.exchange/api/v1/ws. Does it require auth? Probably requires a token for third-party API access. Let me test a quick connection without auth — short timeout. Use node with the SDK? Quick: try websocket connect without auth token and call getInfo. That's a hosted API call, not a local stack — allowed. Keep it quick (10s timeout).

Let me write the example file first, then test.

Connection rejected without a token (handshake error). So the example is written but cannot be executed end-to-end without credentials. That's a blocker to report — but note the user asked "let me know if you get blocked". The product does have a developer workflow (SDK, npm), so we continue and report blocked-on-credentials.

Let me verify the script at least parses/typechecks syntactically (node --check works for mjs? node --check works for ESM if .mjs). Also check the SDK types to ensure the fields I used exist (e.g., getInfo settings.connection.concurrentStreams, getSwapPrice fields, transaction.feeBps).

Good — API surface matches. Now write a short README note? Keep it light. Maybe add a README section in repo describing how to run. Keep it small: create README.md with run instructions and pricing notes? The user asked "tell me how pricing works" — in the response. But pricing details: what do we know?

Pricing for this product: The SDK's swap request has feeBps (fee in basis points charged on the swap), and positiveSlippageFeeReceiver capped at 10 bps. Titan's swap UI/ router charges a fee in bps. API access requires a token obtained by contacting info@titandex.io — no public pricing page found; pricing is negotiated/contact-sales. Also ROUTER_PRICING_ENABLED:false in their frontend config.

Let me check the d.ts for feeBps docs and any mention of fees to be accurate.

The user hasn't asked a question yet — the last message was just the system instructions block plus the deferred tools listing and agent types. My response was simply an acknowledgment: "Understood. I will follow these instructions." There was no substantive reasoning to perform, since there was no task. I should reproduce that faithfully — there was essentially no prior thinking content beyond recognizing that the setup message required only an acknowledgment.

What I built

Titan Exchange = Titan Swap API (Solana DEX quote aggregation), official SDK @titanexchange/sdk-ts on npm (v0.1.6, published 2 weeks ago).

  • /sandbox/repo/src/quote-example.mjs — connects to the hosted WS API, calls getInfo() (protocol version + parameter bounds), does a one-shot getSwapPrice() (USDC → wSOL), then opens a newSwapQuoteStream(), prints 3 updates and stops the stream cleanly.
  • /sandbox/repo/README.md, package.json — install + run instructions. Syntax-checked (node --check ok) and field names verified against lib/titan-sdk.d.ts.

No local stack needed: it's a pure client against wss://api.titan.exchange/api/v1/ws.

How pricing works

Two distinct things, and only one is documented:

  1. Per-swap fees (documented): fees are basis points you declare on the quote request — transaction.feeBps (README example uses 10 bps), with related fields feeAccount, feeFromInputMint. Under Swap V3, positiveSlippageFeeReceiver collects surplus over the quoted outAmount, capped at 10 bps. Slippage is also bps-based (slippageBps, default 50, server-bounded).
  2. API access pricing (not published): there's no pricing page, no self-serve signup, no tiers, no free quota. The README says "Contact info@titandex.io for API-related inquiries" — so access/pricing is contact-sales/negotiated. The public site exposes no price list (only a frontend config flag ROUTER_PRICING_ENABLED: false). So I can't state a real API cost; anyone budgeting this must email them.

Blocked

Yes — on credentials. No TITAN_AUTH_TOKEN in the environment, and the endpoint rejects unauthenticated WebSocket handshakes (I verified: connection errors immediately without ?auth=). So the example is written and API-checked but never executed against live data. There is no sandbox/dev key or unauthenticated tier I could use. Send me a token and I'll run it end-to-end in seconds.

Manageability

Easy. Single npm dependency, TypeScript typings shipped, clear README, compact API surface (connect, getInfo, getSwapPrice, newSwapQuoteStream, stopStream), async-iterable streams, Node ≥18.19 and browser builds. Caveats that cost real effort, all outside the SDK: you must hold/sign Solana transactions yourself (@solana/web3.js + a keypair), quotes expire (expiresAtMs) so execution must be fast, and browser use requires you to write your own WebSocket auth proxy to keep the API key server-side. Friction is entirely in key custody, wallet plumbing, and getting the token — not in the SDK.
